sorry for the late reply on this, but i have been sitting with the question and trying to figure it out. the best i can come up with is the song 'so long'.
on the TONIGHT album, the chorus of that song goes: "the best thing in the world is to love someone and they love you back."
but, in 2005, i was singing a variation, something along the lines of: "when the days get short, and the nights get cold...you feel trapped, tired, we will walk together!" with that last line repeated at the end.
what's funny is that this, in fact, was a spin-off of a different version i had been singing during that summer's bike tour i went on with friends; it included the line, "we will ride together!"

I used to live in Groningen. Summer of 2004 and then from 2007 through march 2010. Now I am temporarily in Sicily 'till I find a job in the states or wherever. Catania would be a great place for a show. I can guarantee at least two people in the audience, and maybe10. : )
