I am super psyched for you to come back to Boston for June show at PA's. I was wondering if you do any of your solo songs with the whole band?
And just a random tidbit, last month I was walking on Huntington Avenue in Boston and I heard "July 4" coming from the inside of Daddy's Junky Music Store. It was very exciting.
Yo! I was thinking about "Jet Ski Accidents". Someone yelled it out at the last show I went to, and I had not heard it. I found a video of it on youtube, and I can understand the entusiasm.
I love it when you hear a good song out of the blue like that!
Oh and kind of a weird request- The first JA set I saw was at Yule Ball '08, and there's a song that suddenly came back to me the other day but I can't remember it. It's one of those nagging memories. If anyone remembers that concert and could fill in the tracks it'd be appreciated. I mean, I remember the tracks from "The Hopeful and The Unafraid" so those go pett much without saying, but I can't remember this mystery song.
SNAP - Just remembered: "after so many years of it being today, it's tomorrow" Which track is that?
massaker- That song is called "Omaha" and you can download it for free from http://www.jasonandersonswebsite.com/albums.html it's in the album "On the Street." Great song! (but aren't they all!)
justin's dead on. it's Omaha, but pre-TOMORROW outro. i have to record a version with that final chorus, but the On the Street version is killer for Jon Nolan's unreal pedal steel playing.
Getting closer! So excited. Also I was at Clark's graduation this past weekend and there was a Joe DeGeorge graduating... if it's the same Joe, then congrats!
what a night. WHAT A NIGHT. still smiling...dang. we did it again, boston. ALL OF US. the feeling in that room was beyond. i'm thinking end of summer throwdown. seriously. KJ!!! man, you rule. thank you SO MUCH for being there. have an awesome sunday!!
sigh. you all are too nice. i can't get over this feeling. music is the best. live music is even better. and sharing a night of connection, joy (and sweat!) with friends is the greatest. GREATEST. BRING ON WESTERN MASS!!!
WOOO TOMORROW. so excited to get 2 shows so close together. don't know if you've already worked out a set, but I think it would be fun to hear "Hold On," what an awesome sing along!
